Team Nova (Boys) outshines Team Sorella (Girls) in a fundraising competition to go to Ireland

Yes, its boys vs girls all over again, but this time a brand new twist to fundraising is about to take off. Both the Yavapai Youth Young Men's and Yavapai Youth Girls Choirs composed and recorded their own "ode" to Ireland! Talk about talent! To hear each song and donate on the side you like, go to the blue "join the challenge" section here on Fund Duel and enjoy! This is a friendly competition to see which Choir (Nova or Sorella) will raise the most money for their trip to Ireland in 2021. Yavapai Youth Choirs, in its fifth season, has become a premier youth choir in Arizona. Our singers have opportunities to share their talents in the greater Prescott community, the state of Arizona and now the world! The Nova (young men) and Sorella (young women) choirs will be traveling to Ireland in the Summer of 2021 for 11 days of workshops with world-renowned directors and musicians, as well as other choirs from all over the globe. Our singers will also have opportunities to perform throughout Ireland, and spend time enjoying the culture and history of the Emerald Isle.

Our hope is to provide our choir performers with opportunities to grow and develop as musicians, but to also expand their cultural knowledge and serve as ambassadors from our city, state and country.

The cost to send our two choirs to Ireland is just under $120,000. We would like to fundraise as much as possible to help minimize the cost to our singers and their families and ensure that each performer is able to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  Team Nova asks for your help in generously donating to our team by "liking" the video we posted in the "challenge" section. Like us by donating! And, please share this link with a challenge to your friends to also help us out.
