About Jayshree: Well known in South Africa as one part of the Mystic Sisters, Jayshree Mallaya is a bestselling author recognized for her business and community work in South Africa. Jayshree means a woman of victory blessed by God. She says,' My name was gifted to me by my grandfather. I believe that all women fit this description. It's our responsibility to support each other, embrace our truth and harness our superpower for social good.

"I love inspiring people to intuitively create their action plan and manifest their purpose in life." Jayshree recently stepped into the world of songwriting and has written an incredible Afrofusion call to action song "Join Hands Around the World" to end gender based violence. A regular guest on local and international talk shows and podcasts, this special song has received tremendous support since its launch on International Women's Day last year and currently has 85 000 views on YouTube. It amplifies United Nations 2022 theme #breakthebias as it is a strong call to men and women to join hands and work together to end all forms of violence, abuse and gender inequality against women and girls.

About Over The Walls Together: I started nonprofit organization, Over The Walls Together in 2017 with my business partner and friend, Winn Coleman from Boston USA Our vision was to use all forms of creative arts such as songs, music, poetry, storytelling, short films, podcasting and events to stimulate conversations, change mindsets and encourage people to reimagine our world free of violence and abuse against women and girls.

Our Vision: Durban has pledged to be the most caring City in Africa by 2030. We pledge to support our City and cities around the world to implement initiatives that promote and support the well-being and economic empowerment of women. We invite your city to #joinhands and create a zero tolerance policy to end all of forms of abuse and violence against women and girls.
