The Fun Woof Collection

Who can resist Fun Woof Collection as we march to top position in fundraising competition? Join us and find out how we are helping MusiKenya!

What is going on here?  Multiple teams are competing to see who can raise the most money for MusiKenya, a group of dedicated music coaches, educators, and performers that help school-aged children in Kenya acquire or enhance their artistic expression through music. All funds raised will go directly to MusiKenya’s first program, offering local musicians the opportunity to gain skills and recognized accreditation in order to further their career in the professional music world.
Who is Team Fun Woof Collection? My name is Patricia, and I’m a Spanish clarinetist based in Denmark. I’m a polifacetic artist that loves dynamism and creativity. Something that fascinates me is the power of music and its ability to unite cultures all around the world. There is so much talent in Kenya, and at the same time so few resources that any kind of musical talent is difficult to nurture. Us, the people living in free countries with the possibility of a future, have the means and power to help those that need it the most. We have the opportunity to make a difference.
How can I help? Since you are on my team page, please upload a selfie in support of what we're doing at MusiKenya. Let’s flood our networks with  funny images that will draw thousands of smiles around the world, while contributing to MusiKenyas cause: to supporting musicians and music teachers in Kenya. Then, please donate on your upload, and share with others on social media. You can qualify to win prizes!

Swiss Bliss

No one dares out manuever the Swiss Bliss team in their quest for fundraising victory for MusiKenya!

Who is Swiss Bliss? Hello everyone! My name is Heidy and I am the team captain for Swiss Bliss. I am a Swiss clarinetist and clarinet professor, with a Master Degrees in Music from University of Arts in Music in Lucerne and Zurich University of Arts. Beside giving concerts and teaching, I’m conducting youth wind bands, organize a youth music competition and compose music for my Klezmer band ‘Freilach Trio’. There is so much talent and potential, so much joy and strong will to become a musician and on the other hand so few possibilities to make these dreams come true - with MusiKenya we can do our part to bring young musicians closer to their goal.
Be a part of it and help us, to bring the same chances to Kenya as we have it here in Switzerland.

How can I help? Since you are on my team page, please upload a selfie in support of what we're doing at MusiKenya. It can be a cute or funny photo of your pet, something to do with music, a happy face, whatever you feel comfortable uploading on the blue Join the Challenge. Then, please donate on your upload, and share with others on social media. You can qualify to win prizes!

Who is Team Furry Friends? Hello everyone! My name is Jo and I am the team captain for Furry Friends. I am a British singer, pianist and woodwind player (recorder, flute and oboe), with a Masters Degree in Music from Cambridge University and I am a former full-time member of the BBC Singers.  I now work for ABRSM as a grade and diploma examiner, in both the UK and overseas and I also make time for charity work-Dementia Forward and The Amber Trust.  Between 1997 and 1999 my husband and I lived in Mombasa and our daughter was born there. This program is especially exciting for me, having witnessed the shortage of consistent and quality music education in Kenya. Giving talented Kenyans the skills and confidence to pursue a career in music is the focus of our work, and being rewarded with formal accreditation from two of our partners will be invaluable.  We can’t wait-please support us.
