Michael "Jake" Epps

As the ambassador of "Violence Out," Michael leads the charge in Fundraising competition for POP on Youth Violence!

Among African Americans 10-24 years old, homicide is the leading cause of death. It is the second cause among Hispanics. These staggering statistics are alarming and validate the need for necessary organizations like P.O.P on Youth Violence (POP). Lets Help POP nip this growing statistic in the bud starting today on S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Day! The Winners of the Mask On Violence Out Challenge will be announced in a live-streaming event on November 14th!

National SAVE Day

Join Michael to continue supporting POP's Mission to prevent and alleviate Youth Violence while inspiring healthy lifestyles, positive behaviors and accessible  career opportunities.

Change happens locally and this is why we work on the ground, face-to-face with youth living in communities affected by violence. Through outreach services, educational seminars, and college and career readiness opportunities we encourage healthy lifestyle choices by working with active community partners to create a safe, fulfilling and academically enriching environment. To increase our outreach efforts to target teenagers at risk, we’re collaborating with local organizations and partnering with Methodist Outreach Program, Marketing Dept, Methodist Trauma Team, Northwest Emergency Associates ER Group and others to prevent violence in a real way.

To sustain the amazing work of P.O.P on Youth Violence during these uncertain times, please Participate, Donate and Share in this critical mission to prevent and end youth violence in Chicago and beyond!
